General

I'm an Artist and the son of parents who were artists. My mother was a fashion designer and painter, and my father was a photographer and musician. My sister and brother are also artists.

I see life as an art piece, a work in progress. It has also been a continual quest for a means to make art, and to find and refine its artistic expression.

I'm also a teacher. I've received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the Temple University, Tyler School of Art, and a Professional degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas.

I'm a Full Professor of Architecture at the University of Florida, after having been a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma, the University of Virginia, and other Universities. I seek to inspire my students with an appreciation of landscape and its inherent beauty.

I also practice Architecture, (Art, on a large scale), through my Architecture Office, which is also specifically concerned with Ecological Landscapes and Sustainable Design.
