Individual Art Pieces

The landscapes shown in Art In The Gallery were first conceived as individual art pieces, such as a gift, a Valentine heart for a loved one.  Later they were perceived as a group: a landscape, a collection of connected related sculptures that repeated the line, the space, the light, and the reflections of one piece to another.

As individual art pieces seen one at a time, each piece is especially unique.  Although its general form may be the same as others in the group, no two pieces are identical.  Each one was individually created having its own particular layering of glazes, its own special firing, and its own unique iridescence.

Indeed, the glazing and firing process is so variable that it is almost impossible to replicate the same piece.  Each piece is the result of many steps in a process that have the possibility of extraordinary beauty or failure.  Only the beautiful ones survive.  Here, they are presented and made available as separate entities by popular request.
